Well, scratch that last bit of glee about the water. Apparently they fixed the hot while I built my screen, and now there is no cold, just unbearable hot.

Um. I need a new place to live.

Oh ye GODS my knees hurt. And my elbow, too. No more bike crashes for me; one was PLENTY.

I have a screen in the bedroom window now. And I've Jerry rigged a fan to stay in the window. When I can afford a plank of wood and a couple brackets, I'll put in a shelf so I don't have to have it, um, tied into the window. Better (and cheaper) yet, a $10 ( Read more... )
